OK! Magazine Article With Kian & Jodi Quotes

"I was running towards her and she just jumped."

Kian Egan and Jodi Albert, Newly weds continue their celebrations and tell OK! why the bride ended up in the pool, in her wedding dress.

Last week we brought you the beautiful pictures and heart warming interview from Kian and Jodi's Caribbean wedding. As OK! was also at the fantastic reception, held at a cliff top mansion, where we are giving you a behind the scenes look at the all night party, that ended with the bride jumping in to the swimming pool in her wedding dress.

OK! caught up with Jodi and Kian, the morning after the nuptials, and although Kian joked, "I'm still the worse for wear,” his new wife, hoarse from all the revelry from the night before, was sipping on warm honey and lemon.

When we asked the couple whether they had enjoyed their day, Jodi told us, "Do you know what? It was just perfect, I know people can look back and say they do things differently, but I can honestly say there is nothing I would change about yesterday. It was perfect and I had the best day of my life.”

Kian also filled us in on the climax of the evening, when Jodi took a flying leap into the swimming pool. "I had been in the house and when I came out it was pouring with rain, and I looked over and Jodi was completely soaked dancing to ‘Womaniser’. She was wet anyway, and she went over to the pool. I could see what she was thinking, so I was running towards her, shouting "No baby, No!!, but she just jumped in. " Jodi chuckled, telling us "When he was running towards me it made me panic and the only place I had to go was the pool. It was so funny, my dad then jumped in, and my sister Kelli wasn't far behind.”

The Westlife gang couldn't bear to be separated after the wedding so despite having flights booked for the next day, Nicky Byrne and his wife Georgina put them back, so they could enjoy the next day with the newly weds and the family barbecue the couple had planned for the end of the week. Shane Filan and his wife Gillian also stayed with the couple at the fantastic Cove Spring House, and Mark Feehily and partner Kevin McDaid carried on the theme by abandoning plans to head home, instead making themselves comfortable at the huge mansion for more fun in the sun.

But what do Westlife, their other halves, and the Egan/Albert clans do the next day, after they've had the biggest extravaganza of their lives. Jodi told OK! "We are all a bit worse for wear today, so I think we’re all going to have a rest, then we are going into the cinema room and watch a movie. I love Pretty Woman, so I'm going to try and get to the lads to agree to it. It will be such a treat.”

The celebrations didn't' stop there. After recovering with a movie and perhaps a little hair of the dog the party moved onto another exclusive location for a farewell barbecue. The newly weds were so pleased with how their day had gone, Jodi had tears in her eyes when she told everyone. "We are so lucky to have so much wonderful people in our lives, Thank you so much for coming. It means the world to us.”

I want to be a mum says Cecelia - after babysitting for sister

Chick-lit author Cecelia Ahern would love to turn her attention towards bedtime stories one day and fulfill her dream of having babies.

The writer has told the Diary she would love one day to follow in her sister Georgina's footsteps and become a mum herself.

"I have always said that I would love to have babies, of course I would," she said.

"I babysat the twins with mum recently when Georgina was over in Barbados and I had so much fun with them. We had them for a few days and they were fantastic, but it was also nice to hand them back at the end!"

The glamorous novelist is still dating her athlete-turned-actor David Keoghan and revealed they enjoyed a romantic trip to Moscow recently.

The couple, who have been dating more than six years, now live together in a plush pad in Malahide -- and she has previously described him as "the one".

Hectic

"I was over there doing a book tour and that was amazing. It was my first time there and David came with me, so we could go out for dinner in the evening as well as working. It was a mad schedule though, really hectic," she said.

"It was an incredible experience, there were queues out the doors of the bookshops. I was over there to promote Thanks For The Memories and I had no idea it sold so well there. The people were lovely, just like here.

"They were really emotional when they came up to talk to me as I found out that they adore love stories -- Russian women are into romance.

"We were staying near Red Square and I didn't get much sight-seeing in but if I was only going to have seen one thing, I'm glad it was the Square. It was so breath-taking."

Hard-working Cecelia has just put the finishing touches to her latest book, which her seventh. After finishing it, she had her usual "glass of Champagne and a little cry".

"That's my little tradition now when I finish a book, it's just the best feeling. I'm waiting for my edit notes now," she continued.

She's also over the moon after selling the movie rights to Thanks For The Memories.

"I'm really excited about that but I never got involved in the casting," she added.

Cecelia also believes the Irish film industry is doing okay, despite the downturn.

"I think projects are still getting made. If people want to make things happen they will, you can get the money from all sorts of funding projects," she said.
