Ireland’s top musicians have been out in force tonight for the annual Meteor Awards…
For the tenth year in a row Westlife have won Best Pop Act. Cian Egan says although the band has won the Best Pop Act for ten years in a row - all his awards take pride of place in his house.
The Coronas won Best Irish Album while the Script scooped the gong for Best Live Performance.
They beat off stiff competition from U2 an Glen from the Script says the rockers have always been a massive influence:
Colin Farrell also put in an appearance tonight while Pixie Lott was spied rehearsing in her uggs and pjs!!!
