Queues to see Westlife come home; CONCERT

WESTLIFE fans were queuing in the early hours yesterday to snap up tickets for a homecoming concert.
Hundreds lined up from 4am to make sure they got their hands on passes for the gig at Lissadell House in Sligo on Friday, July 30.
Westlife manager Louis Walsh said Lissadell could become the next Slane.
He added: "Shane Filan told me, 'I want to play in my home town' and I said, 'OK, let's do it'. Lissadell looks just brilliant and it will be as good as Slane."
It is more than seven years since Westlife played in Sligo and fans camped outside Third Wave music shop on Sligo's O'Connell Street to get their tickets.
Around 1,500 tickets were sold within five hours for the 10,000-capacity gig which precedes two nights of Leonard Cohen at Lissadell.
Tickets priced from EUR55.50 including booking fee are available from Ticketmaster and all usual outlets.
