POP group Westlife have announced their first tour for two years.
The Irish quartet will bring their latest tour to Glasgow next May.
They promise it will feature old favourite hits which include Flying Without Wings, Uptown Girl and World of Our Own, as well as new songs from their latest album Where We Are.
The band, whose manager is X Factor judge Louis Walsh, have already totted up eight sell-out world tours.
They performed their latest song, What About Now, on the show.
Their most recent series of shows, 2008’s Back Home Tour visited arenas across the UK and New Zealand, culminating in stadium shows in Ireland, including a sell out concert
at Croke Park in Dublin.
On the show’s arrival at London’s Wembley Arena, it was declared that the boys had sold more tickets at the venue than any other act and had played a record 25 dates there.
The group work with pop star Kylie Minogue’s pal and creative director William Baker, to produce their dazzling shows.
The concert will be at the SECC on Monday, May 24.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, priced £38, and are available from www.ticketsoup.com or by calling 0844 395 4000.
