Westlife are looking forward to returning to the grind after a year-long break.
The chart-topping foursome, will meet up before heading to an LA studio, to get cracking on a brand new album.
And Dublin lad Nicky Byrne, told The Irish Sun "Even though we have had a full year off, we got together a few times to write songs."
"We haven't had an album out since 2007, that's hard to believe."
"But a year off did us all the world of good - after 10 years we really needed it."
Nicky, dad of two year old twins, Rocco and Jay, admitted: "Leaving them is going to be hard."
Fellow westdad Shane Filan is also going to have to leave, his own tots Nicole and Patrick.
He told the Irish Sun, "Being a father is the best job ever and going to work again will take getting used to."
"I can't wait until the kids are able to come and see us to perform."
