Newly Weds Westdays Are Nearly Over
Newlyweds Jodi Albert and Kian Egan are making the most of their short honeymoon before their hectic careers force them apart.
The couple who tied the knot in Barbados on Friday are relaxing at the exclusive Villa Calliaqua on Turtle Beach before returning home to Sligo later this week.
Westlife star Kian and his wife are making the most of their short time together before they return to work.
Kian is expected to fly to the US next month to record Westlife's new album.
And Hollyoaks actress Jodi is due to do some studio time with her new girlband.
Jodi wowed guests at her wedding by gliding down the aisle, in a stunning Elis Saab dress while hunk pop hunk Kian Egan, sported a 30.000 euro white suit.
But they were forced to say "I do" in the absence of Kian's dad Kevin, who is cancer stricken.
A gospel choir serenaded the loved up couple, as they exchanged platinum bands.
And thoughtful Kian called his dad as soon as he had kissed the bride to break the good news.
Kian’s bandmate Shane Filan told us "It was one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have ever seen."
Kian and Jodi then headed to their lavish reception which was held in the Great House, - a 9 million euro house which Simon Cowell often frequents when he holidays on the island.
They were joined by 120 guests including Kian’s Westlife bandmates, Jodi’s Hollyoaks co stars and Louis Walsh.
An estimated 100.000 was spent on security for the big day as OK! magazine had paid an exclusive 1 million pounds for the excusive wedding photos.
The couple spent around 40.000 Euros on a free bar, and splashed out thousands more on a gourmet spread and fireworks.

Jodi's Wetting Day
Jodi Albert took the plunge on her wedding day, quite literally, by leaping into the pool and destroying her 30.000 wedding dress in the process.
The sexy star shocked guests and her new hubby Kian at Barbados bash when she followed her girlband mates, into the pool as a scene of madness at 4am in the morning.
She had splashed out 30.000 on her Jenny Packham dress, and ended up having to throw it into the bathtub for it to dry out at Simon Cowell's mansion, where guests had enjoyed a 200.000 bash.
The chaos erupted when Corrina Durey and Leagh Learmont, lept into the pool at the climax, of the night.
Jodi then ran and dive bombed in to the pool with the applause of her guests, Kian then followed into the pool in his white linen suit, and within seconds he was followed in by fellow Westlife members Shane and Mark.
The DJ struck up 80s anthem Time Of My Life, from Dirty Dancing, and Kian held his new wife above his head like out of the famous scene in the movie.
Shane told us "It was absolute mayhem, and it was the wildest party I have ever been too. I will never forget it."
“When Jodi jumped into the pool, everyone was stunned but it was a great moment. She had had such a great day and threw caution to the wind."
The couple are honeymooning in the Barbados mansion, that TV mogul Simon Cowell hires out when he’s at holiday in Barbados.
At a special farewell barbeque, held for their guests yesterday, Kian told us how he had woken up to see Jodi's mega money dress lying in the bathtub.
A wedding assistant had sped off to a dry cleaners, but the couple had been told that the delicate material, may have been destroyed.
And it emerged yesterday that Kian's old Westlife bandmate Brian McFadden, had amazing snubbed the showbiz wedding.
Kian and Jodi has made a number of calls to Brian and his fiance Delta, to invite them to the ceremony. Delta told Jodi they were definitely coming and then they didn’t return any formal invitation, or return any of the calls.
Kian even texted Brian to see if he was coming and got no reply. It’s a shame because Kian thought it would be great to have all the lads back together for the special occasion. But Brian wasn’t interested. Kian did everything he could to get Brian to come.
Despite the snub the couple made a special speech. He told guests, "I want to thank my bandmates, my friends in Westlife, If it wasn’t for you guys, I would never have been in a position to do this. And I include Brian in this even if he couldn’t be here today . He was a part of us and I’ll never forget that."
Last night Kian and Jodi were enjoying their week long honeymoon, And despite the reports that Simon Cowell has given them the pad they are staying in, as a gift, the couple said they had paid.

However, I would have to say my favourite single is Flying Without Wings, whenever it comes on, it always brings a tear to my eye as it shares memories of my grandparents and how much they meant to me.
Mark's 'Flying Without Wings' part near the end, (yes the bit he is scared of singing) gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it. On another level Flying Without Wings, reminds me that everyone has something special and at the point when it was released I was feeling low with being a victim of bullying and I think to some extent I seen through the song and through my grandparents who I always think of as special people, it brought me forward with my life and introduced happier beginnings.

The pair, who have been together for nearly five years, were surrounded by friends and family when they exchanged vows on Barbados' Turtle Beach.
According to insiders, a gospel choir was on hand to sing Love is in the Air during the ceremony, while a steel band entertained guests at the reception afterwards.
Jodi, 25, and Kian, 29, made the most of the exotic destination, inviting the whole wedding party to soak up the sun at the Sandy Lane resort for a week leading up to this weekend's nuptials.

The lavish €200,000 wedding got underway at the Grand House Hotel in the exclusive surroundings of Turtle Beach in sunny Barbados at 2pm on Friday.
Surrounded by his Westlife pals and security guards Kian (29) and Jodi (25) swapped vows on the private beach while a gospel choir serenaded them with Love is in the Air.
Hunky Kian and actress turned singer Jodi got engaged on Christmas Day 2007 after four years together.
The lovestruck pair chose the exotic Caribbean location for their wedding after holidaying there last year.
Kian and Jodi were dressed all in white as were most of the wedding guests, who rose in a standing ovation for the couple as they exchanged €30,000 platinum ring bands and said "I do".
Dozens of security guards where on hand to ward off lurking paparazzi as snappers from OK! magazine covered the event for an exclusive €900,000 deal.
After the ceremony the party moved on for a lavish reception in a nearby mansion which X Factor boss Simon Cowell usually rents when he holidays on the Island.

After the meal Kian paid tribute to his cancer stricken dad Kevin who was too ill to travel.
He told the crowd “I would like us to remember all those who aren't able to be with us here today especially my dad who is in my thoughts.”
