Jetset fly to Barbados for Jodi and Kian's showbiz wedding

WESTLIFE star Kian Egan and his fiancee, the former 'Hollyoaks' actress Jodi Albert, will tie the knot in sun-kissed Barbados at midday today in one of the most highly-anticipated showbiz weddings of the year.
The 29-year-old Sligo singer will be the third member of the boy band to wed, joining Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan, while Mark Feehily has been with gay partner Kevin McDaid for over two years.
Kian, aspiring pop singer Jodi (25), and some close friends and family members have been relaxing at the famous Sandy Lane resort on the Caribbean island all week.
But up until last night the couple would not reveal if they were marrying at the luxury Tamarin Cove Hotel, which is the wedding party's base, or at the exclusive Coral Reef Club.
The couple have signed a deal with an English glossy magazine for exclusive rights to cover the wedding and there has been a complete shutdown about their plans.
The deal is believed to be worth close to €1m -- and guests will not be allowed to take photographs at either the ceremony or the reception.
Today's guest-list will include Kian's three bandmates and their partners as well as Jodi's four bandmates from her new girl group, which has yet to be officially named. And pop guru Louis Walsh, who manages both Kian and Jodi, is also a guest.

Celebs escaping recession hit Ireland, for the blissful pleasures of the Euros a night, hideaway including bandmates from Both of the bands.
And Kian, 29 and Jodi, 25 have been pulling out of all the stops, to keep their wedding parties entertained.
Last night they threw a 20,000 pre wedding bash, for their nearest and dearest, at an ocean front club.
Top chefs from all over the island were brought in to give their guests a feast to remember.
Brunette beauty Jodi, was covered in the local flower garlands, as she danced the night away.
And fire eating stilt walkers, magicians and even a troupe of monkey gymnasts swinging from the palm trees, to keep the party atmosphere buzzing.
One party goer revealed, "It was amazing and they went all out.. The guests loved it "
"Kian and Jodi really want this week to reflect who they are as people and the party did just that.”
However Kian and Jodi are keeping their guests in the dark, about tomorrow midday ceremony.
A source close to the couple said "The wedding location is a surprise, it’s very close to Kian and Jodi's hearts, and they cant wait to bring everyone there."
"It reflects their laid back approach to the big day."
The brides dress is also a closely guarded secret. to protect a magazine deal rumoured to be worth a staggering 900 000 Euros.
Yesterday though the to-be-weds were more intent on relaxing. Blond crooner Kian spent the day surfing and watching soccer with pals. Arriving back at the hotel after dark, with his surf board under his arm.
Meanwhile, stunning Jodi spend the day topping up her tan poolside with Shane's wife Gillian.
More of their hundred friends and family are due to arrive today.
Westlifer's Nicky Byrne and Mark Feehily are due to arrive with their other halves, Georgina and Kevin McDaid.
And former Hollyoaks actress Jodi Albert is due to spend the night with her girlband mates on a catamaran.
Kasey Durran, Leigh Learmont, Sharon Condon, and Corrina Durran - part of the still un-named group, and all forking out to support their leading lady.

Westlife singer Nicky Byrne reckons his band mate isn't Kian to sing for his Bride-to-be on Friday.
Nicky revealed that the Westlifer's will keep it zipped on the night.
He grinned "I don't think there will any performances, - Jodi has heard us sing enough over the past few years."
"Who knows what will happen as the night goes on. But we've deffinitely got no plans to sing as she walks down the aisle."

THEY may be the closest thing Ireland has to a pop royal family but Nicky Byrne and Georgina Ahern are just like any other couple.
The Diary spotted the couple in the ladies department of Brown Thomas during the week.
And as Bertie Ahern's eldest daughter had a good look through the rows and rows of designer clothes, her other half had that unmistakable look of a man dragged along on a shopping trip as he draped himself over the rails, yawning occasionally.
The pair will fly to Barbados on Thursday for the fourth and final Westlife wedding as Kian Egan and Jodi Albert tie the the knot.
And no, Bertie hasn't been given the job of looking after Rocco and Jay. Instead Nicky's parents will do the honours.

Far from asking their guests to don their finest garb as they watch the Westlife star swap vows with his former Hollyoaks star fiancee, the couple are taking a far more laid back approach to their Barbados ceremony tomorrow.
SOARING
With temperatures soaring into the 30s, the smitten pair have decided it's far too hot for their guests to wear black tie and full-length dresses.
Instead, the couple are breaking with normal showbiz tradition, which normally sees guests trying to outdo each other in the designer stakes, and giving attendees the go-ahead to wear "casual" clothes.
"Kian has said that it would just be too uncomfortable for everyone to be walking around in formal wear and has said he has no problem with the guys wearing shorts, tee-shirts and sandals while the girls can just wear summer dresses. It will probably look more like a beach party than a high-profile celebrity wedding," said a source.
"All eyes will be on Jodi anyway, as she has been working out a lot lately to make sure she looks stunning in her wedding dress." And although the wedding venue is being kept firmly under wraps in order to protect the couple's lucrative deal with a British glossy, it's widely speculated that they'll stage the ceremony in the five-star Coral Reef Club, one of the holiday island's most exclusive resorts. Kian and Jodi arrived in Barbados last weekend to relax ahead of their big day and await their 100 guests. Attendees include pop mogul Louis Walsh and Kian's Westlife bandmates, including Nicky Byrne. He and wife Georgina Ahern have left their two-year-old twins Rocco and Jay at home while they see their pals tie the knot.

CELEBRITIES going to pop star Kian Egan and Jodi Albert's wedding in Barbados will have to clear swine flu screening areas.
Stars have been warned by government officials they will be monitored and questioned before they get off the plane when they touch down on the Caribbean island.
Dozens of stars including Kian's Westlife bandmates, Louis Walsh and Ronan Keating are flying out next week.
Most will jet out directly from London on flights that will be subject to strict health checks when they land.
The first suspected cases of the deadly bug emerged on Thursday in the Caribbean triggering new safety measures.
Health officials in Belize were probing at least three suspected cases of the virus. A govern- ment source in Barbados warned: "Everyone, whether they are a tourist or a celebrity, will be checked coming in.
"There will be special monitoring and screening areas and they will be questioned before they get off the plane.
"We want everyone to have a fantastic time here but we must also not compromise people's health." Kian and Jodi will enjoy a lavish wedding ceremony next Friday when they tie the knot in front of around 120 guests.
OK! Magazine have bought the rights to the big day for around EUR600,000 and the couple are already on the island making last- minute preparations for the big day.
A source close to Kian revealed: "They know there is a bit of a fuss about swine flu but they're not going to let that ruin their time over there."

Shane joins a grand day for Sligo rugby fans
By Sharon Conway WESTLIFE’S Shane Filan was one of hundreds of Sligo rugby fans who turned out for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the Grand Slam trophy cup in Sligo.
The crowd celebrated and reminisced over Ireland’s recent Grand Slam victory in Wales - as the O2’s Grand Slam Trophy tour visited Sligo’s O2 Store on O’Connell Street, on Friday.
During the RBS 6 Nations championship O2 gave Sligo rugby fans the opportunity to pledge their support and ‘Be the Difference’ to the Irish rugby team for the five gruelling encounters against some of the best rugby teams in the world.
Thousands of Sligo rugby fans took part in O2’s ‘Be the Difference’ campaign, signing up by text, online or visiting their local O2 store.
To thank Sligo rugby fans for signing up to the campaign, O2 offered them the chance to get their hands on the coveted 6 Nations and Triple Crown silverware and have their photo taken with the Grand Slam Trophy Tour.

Father-of-two Shane Filan has advised Kian to enjoy his big day this week and all that marriage has to offer.
Shane is expected to join band mates Nicky and Mark this week in a star-studded bash to witness fellow band mate Kian tie the knot with fiancĪ¹e Jodi Albert.
“He’s got a great girl in Jodie, and a fantastic relationship. They’ve been together a long time so it’s about time they got married!”
Speaking to the Sligo Post last Friday Shane said that his life only started to mean something after he became a father.
He and his wife Gillian had their second child late last year and the Westlife star told the Post how his life has changed since having children.
“Having kids definitely puts life into perspective. In my opinion, I’ve only started living since I had kids.
“Hopefully, there’ll be many more.”
Speaking about the latest arrival, Patrick, born last September, the pop star said he was glad to have had the opportunity to be at home.
“It was wonderful to be there when Patrick was born, to be able to take the last nine months off and spend time at home.
“We’ve got six weeks left before we get straight back into work. I’m enjoying every minute of it.”
The singer, who already has a four-year-old daughter, Nicole, continued to say that Westlife are heading to Nashville in June to start recording on their new album.
“We got new people with fresh songs and fresh material. We feel the last year has had too many covers so we’re back to originals like our first album, with some great pop songs."

KENNY Dalglish today paid glowing tribute to the long list of legends and celebrities who have pledged to turn out at Anfield next week for the Hillsborough 20th Anniversary Memorial game.
World boxing great Joe Calzaghe will be among a host of famous names to appear at Anfield next Thursday night, including Robbie Fowler and Paul Gascoigne plus a long list of former Everton and Liverpool greats.
Kop legend Fowler has promised to fly in from Australia, where he is now playing with A-League side North Queensland, to take part in a Liverpool Legends v All Stars encounter.
Other top names on show in the match will include Dalglish himself, Alan Hansen, Dave Watson, Alan Stubbs, Gary Gillespie, Trevor Steven and Graham Stuart.
Singer Craig David and Nicky Byrne from Westlife are among a line-up of celebrities who will also play in the match - which will pay tribute to the 96 victims of the Leppings Lane disaster in 1989 while also raising money for the Marina Dalglish appeal to help build a £15m radiotherapy unit at Aintree Hospital in Fazakerley.
Dalglish said: “The support from everyone for this game has been truly amazing and I must thank every one of the lads for agreeing to come along and play.
“I’ve never seen Joe Calzaghe play football before but he is one of boxing’s all time greats with a magnificent unbeaten record - and anyway someone said he should add a fair bit of punch up front!
“Robbie is flying in from Australia and Gazza will be there too.
“Everyone has been magnificent since being approached and the intention is to put on a real good game for the fans to come along and really enjoy.”
Nigel Clough and Des Walker, who both played for Nottingham Forest during the ill-fated FA Cup semi final match against Liverpool 20 years ago, will also be turning out.
Former Liverpool keeper Paul Harrison, whose father Gary and uncle Stephen were among the 96 killed at Hillsborough, will play in goal for the Reds.
Added Dalglish: “I think people understand that the money we are raising from this game will help provide a wonderful, world class facility with state of the art medical equipment here in Liverpool.
“Right now an awful lot of people have to travel very long distances to Clatterbridge for radiotherapy treatment and it can be a long and difficult journey for a lot of people.
“Hopefully the people of Merseyside, who have been brilliant and so generous down the years, will come along and show their magnificent support yet again.
“There’ll be a real family feel to the occasion and a few laughs no doubt - but rest assured everyone will take the game seriously.
“Certainly the celebs like Nicky, Craig Johnny Wlkes and Gethin Jones, who won Strictly Come dancing, can all play a fair bit.”
